We participated in the international scientific-practical conference "Recent developments in international commercial dispute resolution. Arbitration in the Republic of Moldova after 30 years".
The Moldovan legal community witnessed an exceptional international conference, which marked an important milestone in the development of arbitration in our country. It was a unique opportunity to reflect on the past, present and future of this alternative method of dispute resolution in the company of renowned experts in the field.
For two days, participants discussed the challenges and opportunities of arbitration in Moldova, 30 years after its introduction. We learned about the evolution of the legislative framework, which has allowed arbitration to develop and become an efficient and flexible tool for resolving commercial disputes. We also discussed the role of arbitration in making Moldova more attractive to foreign investors.
Speakers included lawyers, arbitrators, judges and representatives of the business community from home and abroad. Each brought their unique experience and perspective, enriching the debates. We learned from each other, exchanged ideas and forged new professional connections.
Beyond the presentations and discussions, the conference was also an opportunity to celebrate the evolution of arbitration in Moldova. We witnessed a real transformation from a relatively new concept to a solid, internationally recognized practice. And this is due to the hard work and passion of professionals in the field who believed in the potential of arbitration.
Now, looking to the future, we are optimistic about the evolution of arbitration in Moldova. We have a solid foundation, a dedicated community and a desire to align ourselves with the best international standards. Challenges exist, but together we will overcome them to provide companies with a fast, efficient and confidential dispute resolution mechanism.
The conference "Arbitration in Moldova at 30" was a fascinating journey that reminded us of how far we have come and how much we still have to do. But surely, the next 30 years will be even more exciting!
